Lothian Road Shop Tour

The Lothian Road branch of Wonderland Models opened in 1977. Take a look at what we looked like before our expansion in 1991, and how the new space looked before we filled it with our amazing range of hobby products.

Expanded Lothian Road Shop Tour

In 1991 Wonderland Models expanded its Lothian Road shop. Take a tour with us and see what our store looked like after the expansion and refurbushment.

Wonderland Models at Scottish Rugby

In 1995 Wonderland Models started attending Scotland's international rugby matches at Murrayfield Stadium, driving the kicking tee out onto the pitch. We featured on Scotland Today, who came in to talk to us about what became a famous fixture of Scottish rugby matches.

Many of you will also remember our Famous Grouse designed by Tom Burke. You can see his post about the creation of that famous vehicle here.

Reporting Scotland - Gulf War

In 1991 we were visited by Reporting scotland. With the news at the time being filled with reports on the Gulf War we saw a surge in interest in vehicles involved in the conflict, with the Panavia Tornado and Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk being particularly popular.
