Victrix 28mm Pillage - Introductory Set

This box was designed to be the ultimate introductory set, creating both the perfect starting point for a new player, but also offering something new for existing players.

This box set contains 4 sprues containing completely new sculpts such as new buildings and wattle fences, plus a mixed loot frame offering a sample of objects and animals from across our Pillage accessories range.

Starter Booklet –The starter booklet offers a 'light' version of the main rulebook. It focuses on learning the mechanics from the ground up. It also gives you some simple scenarios to work through.

As the original sprues for the Vikings contained 8 figures, and the Irish sprue contains 6, we factored this into the booklet and the scenarios.

Pillage revolves around equipment and objectives. In the kit, we’ve set it up so the Irish have more ranged weapons and a very powerful Danish axe. The Vikings have the numerical advantage, but since they’re the ones who have to steal the cattle, the task isn't easy; they’ll be taking fire, and that Danish axe can be deadly. The scenarios are designed to balance out that numerical disparity. Plus, this is just an introductory set for learning the ropes.
