The USS Midway CV-41 from our 1/700 scale ship model kits range accurately recreates the real-life American aircraft carrier. This plastic model kit requires paint and glue to complete.

United States Navy aircraft carrier and lead ship of her class. Midway was commissioned on September 10, 1945, eight days after the surrender of Japan, and was the largest ship in the world until 1955. Midway served in the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm and was decommissioned in 1992. The Trumpeter kit portrays Midway prior to a major modernisation refit in June 1955 which included the installation of an angled flight deck, new enclosed bow and steam catapults.
