The Revell VW T3 Westfalia Joker in 1/25 scale from the plastic van models range accurately recreates the real life German camper van. This plastic model kit requires paint and glue to complete.
The Volkswagen, successor to the successful VW T1, was launched in 1979. While its predecessor still relied on the tried and tested technology of the "Beetle", the much roomier T3 was a completely redeveloped vehicle. The car was distinguished by its much more angular appearance and was primarily suited to leisure activities. The elevating roof gave it an additional sleeping compartment so that the T3 was often used as a camping vehicle.
