The Hong Kong Models 1/48 Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress Memphis Belle from our 1/48 scale aircraft model kits range accurately recreates the real-life American bomber from World War II. This plastic model kit requires paint and glue to complete.

Both aircraft portrayed in the kit's markings undertook war bonds tours in 1943/44, raising morale back in the States.

Markings for 2 USAF aircraft:

(1) B-17F-10-BO s/n 41-24485 'Memphis Belle' DF-A, 324th BS, 91st BG, England May 1943, the first B-17 to return to the USA after completing 25 missions against occupied Europe;

(2) B-17F-50-BO s/n 42-5360 'Old Faithful' VK-N, 358th BS, 303rd BG, England late 1943.
