The 1/30 Billings Esperance was a French fishing boat built in Honfleur in the bay of Le Havre in 1866. These typical boats operating in this region had a crew of 3 members, a sail area of 47m2 and a length always less than 10m.
This kit features plank on frame construction, laser cut plywood keel and frame components, wooden superstructure and decks, hull and deck fittings in brass and/or plastic. It includes full-size plan sheets and an instruction manual with English text. This wooden boat kit is ideal for the beginner.
