The Tamiya R/C Volkswagen Type 2 (T1) Van Kit recreates the classic 1950s VW Bus in 1/10 scale. Tamiya has matched the detailed body with the M-06 rear-wheel-drive chassis, giving the van smooth handling and a feel similar to the real rear-engine Type 2. The low centre of gravity and balanced layout make it enjoyable to drive on a range of surfaces.

To complete the kit, you will need a 2-channel radio, a 6-cell battery with Tamiya connector, a suitable charger and Tamiya PS polycarbonate paint. Once built, the finished model looks great and delivers classic VW character with reliable Tamiya performance.
