The Takom 1/350 Flak Tower I Berliner Zoo G Tower from the plastic aircraft model kits range accurately recreates the real life Flakturm of the Third Reich, concrete air defence structures built early in WWII in Berlin, Hamburg and Vienna city centres. Tower I near Berlin Zoo supported 4 anti-aircraft gun emplacements on the roof, with hospital facilities, air raid shelter and storage for museum artefacts below. The tower was demolished in 1947.
