Revell 1/500 Star Trek USS Enterprise NCC-1701 Into Darkness
Licence: Star Trek
Model Number: 04882
The Revell Star Trek USS Enterprise NCC-1701 Into Darkness Model Kit in 1/500 scale from the plastic Star Trek models range accurately recreates the starship from the Star Trek Into Darkness 2013 science fiction movie. The completed model measures 58.8 cm long.
This Revell Star Trek kit requires paint and glue to complete. This is just one of many great kits from the Revell plastic models range. Revell Colours Required: 5, 47, 55, 56, 76, 99, 301, 302, 371, 752.
For this model we recommend using paints from the following ranges.
We also highly recommend the following ranges for tools and accessories.
In 2009 the 11th Star Trek Movie arrived in cinemas. So much from the past has changed in the course of its journey through time that a new time-line has been created, and thus events from films from the 60's and later are no longer relevant. The new film called "Into Darkness" continues the plot from the 11th film. The main protagonists in the film, which is set around the year 2255 are, as usual, the young James T. Kirk and Mr Spock. Supporting characters, especially Uhura and Chekov, play a much larger part in this film.

This kit is awesome. The detail is excellent with windows in the saucer and main hull already put out so lighting it is simple and its huge. Regretfully though there is no Aztec decals for the hull or saucer which is a shame but apparently 1:350 scale after market Aztec deals can be altered to fit until someone else makes some for it. Well worth the money and only really available in Europe so get them while you can and be the envy of all sci-fi modelers in the US.

The model had great detail. It was nice to see a kit like this in this scale good size nice decals, would have been nice to see Aztec markings but I'm sure someone will come out with them soon, also the revell box has a lid instead of the opening sides.Very nice kit.

I have not begun to assemble this model yet but initial impressions are very good. Crisp clear moldings with plenty of clear parts (for lighting) and a good decal sheet. The instructions are very clear with the "aztec" markings shown on the relevant parts. Only down side which I have noted is the "impulse engines" part which should really be molded in clear, but this really is nit-picking. I am quite looking forward to building and lighting this model.

I have yet to paint and build this model, but am very happy with the product. It seems well put together, and the assembly and paint instructions are very clear and detailed. I'm excited about painting and putting this model together, and can't wait to see how it turns out. I'm sure it'll make an excellent addition to my model collection of the USS Enterprise.

Weather or not you like the new design, this is an excellent model with crisp details. For those who like to light their kits, the internal structure was designed to allow for lighting. This kit isn't available in North America and I'm glad I found Wonderland. Shipment was relatively quick.

Excellent model, however, be warned - There are no Aztec decals for this model, all panels need to be hand painted in multiple colours to produce the correct effect.

Fantastic customer service.
Live in the US, and had my order 5 days after paying. Terrific follow up by wonderland, purchase with confidence. The kit is pretty good, it needs a bit of accurizing but it goes together very well. Do NOT test mount your saucer to the main hull completely, or you'll end up breaking some tabs to seerate it. Otherwise have fun!

This kit is amazing in my opinion... I purchased from per order and had no idea what to expect as there were no reviews.... It is larger than my other 6 kits but I really like it.... The instructions make it to an accurate version seen on screen in the film... Some of the decals were a pain, but then I'm a novice still so they are usually hard for me.. I'd recommend this kit

Big, old style kit
Great to see the latest version of the Enterprise modelled on a similar scale to the AMT/ERTL Enterprise-A of my youth. However, whereas the weaknesses of that kit have been pretty well documented, I can say that Revell's kit is of much higher quality. Sure, for purists there are a few inaccuracies and things like the impulse engines should have come as clear parts (which this kit has in ample numbers), but fit is supremely better and I have no concerns about having to strengthen the neck/pylon areas as you would on the Enterprise-A AMT/ERTL kit. There is plenty of room for lighting, lots of decals and detailed panel painting instructions, all of which is going to make this a long-term project for me. And I quick mention of Wonderland's service which blew my socks off after a failed-then-cancelled order from an Amazon dealer, making Wonderland my new go-to place for my future kits. Great pricing too!

Product was better than expected. Seller provided excellent delivery and communication. Packing was done well enough to withstand obvious rough handling by postal services (US and abroad). Item was not damaged. Very happy with transaction, and purchase.

Great model, Great price
Awesome model, came quickly and I got it for a great price as it's usually about £60 -£80 elsewhere. Surprisingly big but comes with very detailed instructions. Secondary hull is quite thin which seems a bit worrying but hopefully when glued together with contact cement should hold nicely. Great model, I really recommend it.
