The USS Roosevelt is the 4th carrier of the Nimitz class and was launched in 1984. The Roosevelt carries a crew of 8000 men and is be capable of supporting 100 aircraft. The nuclear reactors drive geared steam turbines with nearly 300,000 shp. The ship is capable of cruising for 13 years without refueling.
