I have not started building this model yet, but looking in the box it looks really good. Very detailed and has clear instruction sheets which is always useful.

End result is OK
At the end of the day you will get a reasonable model, complete with moving guns - as far as I know this is the only 1/35 scale version of this tank and it's not expensive. However if you're used to Tamiya or Dragon tanks it comes as a bit of a shock. For a start you need something like industrial bolt cutters to remove the parts from the sprue. A lot of the joints are overlapping butt joints and it's not clear from the instructions which piece overlaps which. The flexible plastic tracks look OK but for some unfathomable reason each is presented in four seperate pieces which means at least two joints will be visible. The instructions optimistically state you can use polystyrene cement to join them but this is nowhere near strong enough - some reinforcement is required. Decals are provided for 2 British and 2 (captured) German versions but sadly no information about the individual tanks portrayed.

Difficult but worth it
This is not a stupendous model. At once it is overly complicated to put together, yet simplistic in final result. Hooks, chains and hatches are all pre-moulded and cannot be adjusted. Worse yet much bending, cutting and 'persuading' is needed to make parts fit together. However, once painted and set for display I would be lying if I said that the end result showed this. Aside from a few issues here and there, the finished result can be made to look very impressive. With modification to the modal and replacement of parts, it could look very good indeed.
