A solvent-based enamel paint with a matt finish.
The Humbrol Enamel Paints range offers a wide selection of colours. Oil-based paints that have to be thinned using chemical thinners.
Usage
A solvent-based, fast dry paint developed for use on plastic model kits but which can also be used on other substrates. Matt, Satin, Gloss, Metallic, Metalcote and Clear finishes are available.
Substrate
A wide range of surfaces including most plastics, wood, glass, ceramics, metal, cardboard, sealed plaster, sealed hardboard and more (always check on a small test area to check suitability).
Application
Brush straight from the tin or Airbrush with a suitable thinner such as Humbrol Enamel Thinners. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat. The usual thinning ratio is 2 parts paint to one part thinner. Note that Metalcote colours are designed to be polished when fully dry.
Drying Time
Matt & Satin: 20-40 minutes touch dry and upto 24 hours for hard dry. Drying times will vary according to ambient temperature and humidity. Recoat: 6 hours minimum (preferably over night).
Coverage
A 14ml tinlet covers approx 0.3m2 depending on thickness of application.
How to Clean
Brushes: Use Enamel Thinners. Airbrush: flush through using Humbrol Enamel Thinners. Product is permanent once dry.

Good quality paint, that come in handy sized bottles. Would recommend trying if you haven't used Tamiya Acrylic Paint before. A great service from Wonderland Models, will certainly be using again, Thank you.
