The Hornby BR, A3 Class, 'Flying Scotsman' With Steam Generator, Diecast Footplate & Flickering Firebox - Era 4, in the Hornby range of Steam Locomotives accurately recreates the real life loco. This model train features extensive detailing.
The exceptional ‘Flying Scotsman’ underwent several renumbering, from No. 103 by LNER after being rebuilt to A3 Class specification in 1947 to No. 60103 by BR after the nationalisation of the railways in Britain. After being converted to left hand drive and painted BR Green – also known as Brunswick Green – the ‘Flying Scotsman’ has been crafted to include the new Hornby Steam Generator, as well as a flickering firebox for added realism.
