The Caldercraft HMS Victory wooden ship model is a highly detailed and accurate scale reproduction of Admiral Nelson’s famous flagship as she appeared at the Battle of Trafalgar. This premium wooden ship model kit is ideal for experienced model builders looking for historical accuracy and exceptional craftsmanship.

Unlike many other HMS Victory kits, this Caldercraft model has been developed using extensive historical research verified by Mr Peter Goodwin, former Keeper and Curator of HMS Victory in Portsmouth. His work ensured the model reflects Victory’s true Trafalgar configuration, which is also how the ship is now displayed in Portsmouth today.

This kit is packed with premium materials and precision-engineered parts, including:

• Double plank-on-bulkhead construction using lime and walnut
• Pre-cut gun ports for easier and more accurate assembly
• 8 sheets of photo-etched brass components
• 3 different profiled brass rails
• CNC-cut walnut and plywood parts, profiled where required
• Scale turned wooden belaying pins, pillars, and staircase balusters
• Full set of blocks and black/natural hemp rigging
• All four ship’s boats in plank-on-bulkhead construction
• Scale copper hull plates
