The Cumbrae Clyde Pilot is a beautifully detailed working boat, combining the elegance of a yacht with the charm of classic 1960s–70s Clyde Pilot cutters. Designed to capture the lines of traditional motor vessels, this model boat kit is a must-have for serious model boat enthusiasts. Its moulded GRP hull features full plating and rivet detail, while the ship’s boat and funnel are crafted from precise styrene mouldings.

The kit includes die-cut ply parts, printed deck and wheelhouse overlays, and all the materials needed to complete the model. A detailed instruction booklet and drawings guide you through assembly, along with dowel, wire, rod, chain, rigging cord, transfers, prop and prop shaft. The model is finished with a comprehensive set of white metal fittings for added realism.
