Tamiya Yamaha RZ350 Rerelease
The RZ350 debuted at the 1979 Paris Motor Show as the RD350LC. With styling that was reminiscent of Yamaha racing bikes, a 347cc 45hp liquid-cooled twin cylinder engine, and a mono-cross rear suspension, it was sold in Europe in 1980 and was renamed RZ350 for the Japanese market and released in February 1981. The engine was attached to the frame by two orthogonal mounts, which resulted in the lighter frame design with a dry weight of just 143kg. Due to its high performance, which allowed it to take on larger 750cc displacement bikes, the bike was given the Japanese nickname 750-killer.
