Airfix

Airfix is Britain's oldest and most iconic plastic model kit brand. Founded in 1939 and producing construction kits for the mass market since 1952, the name has become practically synonymous with scale modelling in the UK. A true icon of British culture, Airfix is now owned by Hornby and continues to design and develop new toolings from its base in the United Kingdom.

The range covers an enormous variety of subjects, with aircraft at the heart of the catalogue alongside military vehicles, ships, figures, cars and dioramas. Kits are graded by skill level, from the Starter Sets that include paints, glue and a brush, through to highly detailed large-scale builds for experienced modellers. The Quick Build range offers a glue-free, clip-together option that makes Airfix accessible to younger builders and complete beginners. Airfix also produces its own line of Humbrol paints, primers and modelling accessories to bring your models to life.

At Wonderland Models, we stock the full Airfix range and our team is always happy to help you find the right kit for your skill level. Shop securely online for express shipping or visit our in-store experts in Edinburgh for personalised advice.
