The Italeri 1/24 Land Rover Fire Truck from our 1/24 and 1/25 scale car model kits range accurately recreates the real-life off-road Emergency vehicle. This plastic model kit requires paint and glue to complete. The Land Rover is one of the most famous symbols of British automobile production and is a real milestone in the history of off-road vehicles. It was born immediately after WWII, with the first prototypes realised in 1947. It is characterised by the 4x4 traction system and by a robust and reliable design able to tackle the most difficult and challenging trails. The aluminium body provided lightness but, at the same time durability and more resistance against corrosion. In 1971, when the III Series was introduced, more than 1,000,000 Land Rovers had been produced. Thanks to its extraordinary versatility it was used in both military and civilian duties.
