The Billing Boats 1/33 Fishing Boat Mary Ann from the wooden ship model kits range accurately recreates the real-life vessel. This wooden boat kit is highly realistic with many fine details.
The Mary Ann was the first model produced by Billing Boats in 1958. It has been modified 4 times during the years and changed names 3 times. The ship is a typical 45-ton cutter commonly seen in the harbour at Esbjerg, Denmark; often more than 600 cutters of this type can be seen at a time. The model kit is based on the original ship drawings.
This kit features plank on frame construction, laser cut plywood keel and frame components, wooden superstructure and decks, hull and deck fittings in brass and/or plastic, mast and spars and rigging cord in various sizes. It includes full-size plan sheets and an instruction manual with English text. This kit is suitable for those with a little experience of ship modelling in wood or plastic.
