The Revell 1/24 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback from our 1/24 and 1/25 scale car model kits range accurately recreates the real-life vehicle. This plastic model kit requires paint and glue to complete. The successor to the Ford Thunderbird came in April 1964. It raised a real storm of enthusiasm. No other car since then has had such a tremendous success: in the first model year Ford produced a sensational 680,000 of them. Apparently it struck a nerve with the younger drivers: an economical, relatively compact car in an attractive design with a large and above all powerful engine. The first model type from the production period up to September 1964 designated "'64½" was followed by a slightly altered version with a more powerful engine. In addition from 1965 a coupé called "fastback" by the Americans was available.
