Description
Sculptamold combines the best features of clay, plaster and papier mache while eliminating the disadvantages. In dry form, this white, non-toxic compound is quickly prepared by adding water. Shake closed bag to thoroughly mix product before using, as some settling may occur in shipping. Sets in 30 minutes. It will cling to almost all clean surfaces and does not shrink so it may be applied to an armature or any core without fear of cracking. Finished pieces are very lightweight, strong and durable. May be carved, sanded or sawn.

Haven't used this product for a few years but it is the ideal medium for my full size light weight T Rex head I'm currently working on. Secret to using Sculptamold is to get the right consistency and only make quantities you can shape before it becomes unworkable. Once you get over that hurdle Sculptamold is a great medium for making one off items but not perfect, thus 4 stars. If you use it too thick in one go and drying is delayed it can become mouldy, so best to gradually build up thickness if your armatue is not very accurate. None-the-less I would still recommend this product. Not that expensive either.

sculptamold is and must be the best and most versatile thing to use to make a great diorama it can be once dry filed sawn and moulded into whatever shape you want a must for diorama makers
