Hornby Railways The Royal Train Set Description
The Hornby The Royal Train Set contains the 'Princes Elizabeth' which was one of the fastest locomotives operating on the British Railways network in 1950 and was named in honour of the future Queen Elizabeth II when she was still a Princess.
A true spirit of nostalgia surrounds the superbly detailed models in The Hornby Royal Train Set which include the LMS 'Princess Elizabeth' locomotive together with three model coaches, HM The Queen's personal saloon, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh's personal saloon and a sleeper brake coach which emulate those that can still be seen as part of the current Royal Train.
The track in this set which includes 2 sidings is the Starter Oval plus Track Packs A and B.
This set emulates the Royal Train and contains the following:
4-6-2 "Princess Elizabeth" 6201 loco & tender in LMS maroon
HM The Queen's personal saloon car
HRH The Duke of Edinburgh's personal saloon car
Sleeper brake coach
Starter oval & track packs A + B making an oval with 2 sidings
Controller and transformer
Buffer stops, power clips and TrakMat
