The Freedom comes equipped with a powerful 480 motor, allowing for great climb rates and manoeuvring power. A two-piece plug-in wing provides better handling in the wind, smoother flight, easier transportation and a sleek swept-wing design.

The Firebird Freedom also comes with Hobbyzones unique Anti Crash Technology (ACT) which helps new pilots to master the art of flight before switching control modes and going it alone, without ACT, to perform dare-devil stunts.

Revolutionary Anti-Crash Technology, exclusive to HobbyZone, which actively monitors the plane's orientation, as it relates to the ground and sky, and cuts the motor, in tandem with giving neutral steering and up elevator, if the plane enters a steep dive. This causes the plane to come out of the dive so the user can regain control. Once pilots gain experience flying, they can increase manoeuvrability and overall control by turning ACT off via the switch on the transmitter.
