The Artesania Latina Bounty's Jolly Boat wooden ship model is an accurate reproduction of the real life ship. In April of 1789 the Bounty left Tahiti and while it crossed the Endeavour Straits, the crew rebelled. The Captain and his eighteen loyal followers embarked in one of the three auxiliary boats. This one small ship had to travel 3.600 miles until it reached Timor, with only four rowers.
