Bravo Delta Models 1/56 Avro Lancaster B1 003

The Bravo Delta Models Avro Lancaster B1 in 1/56 scale is another example from this superb wooden aircraft model collection.
This was part of the Canadian Squadrons based in UK and Canada 408 (Goose). Squadron RCAF Badge: Canada goose. Motto: 'For Freedom'. Squadron originally formed at Linton-on-Ouse, Yorkshire 24 June, 1941.

Bravo Delta Models are exceptional museum quality wooden aircraft models and are faithfully reproduced in kiln dried Mahogany. Each is carved, joined and sanded by hand. The deep, rich finish that distinguishes these models from others is created by the application of up to 35 coats of enamel. The artist then hand paints all of the details onto each model. The final product is a beautiful authentic wooden aircraft which is fully built and finished and packed in a strong shipping carton. Every model has its own desk stand. All the propellers are made of wood and will rotate. Some of the jets have movable swing wings, also made of wood.
