The
Revell 1/350 Bismarck is a
plastic model kit of the most famous battleship of them all.
Alongside the 'Tirpitz', the most modern and best armed German Battleship, here proudly recreated as a model of more than 70 cm in length!
The
plastic ship model kit is manufactured using CAD, according to drawings, the latest documentation and information about the famous original warship. During the Battle of the Denmark Strait the 'Bismarck' also suffered three hits that were later to prove decisive. One of these hits destroyed a fuel bunker in her bow. She lost 1,000 litres of fuel and was no longer capable of running at full speed. So the German Admiralty decided to separate the two ships. The 'Prinz Eugen' was to continue with the Handelskrieg (war against enemy merchant shipping), while the 'Bismarck' was to retreat towards northern France.
