The Italeri 1/35 Opel Blitz is a plastic model kit in the Italeri Military Plastic Model Kits range.
Registered by the Wehrmacht under the designation LKW 36-36 S 3t Blitz this truck was the OPEL BLITZ cc S typical example of that practice of unification adopted in 1938 for the construction of civil transport means con- vertible into military vehicles. Actually this truck - OPEL without BLITZ was manufactured for commercial use featuring more or less the same characteristics. It was rightly called the workhorse of the German Army the indefatigable witness of the feats and defeats encountered by the Wehrmacht in battles fought from the North Sea to the African desert.
