The Hot Wheels Batmobile TV Version is a 1/18th scale diecast model car from the Hotwheels Batman Collection range.
August 1965, the producers of the Batman TV show approached George Barris, of Barris Kustom Cars, to have him build a brand new Batmobile for their new upcoming TV show. The only stipulation was that the car had to be ready for action in a mere three weeks ready for filming! Seeing the Batmobile-like qualities of his Ford Futura concept car already had, George Barris felt it was the perfect answer to the stipulation 20th Century Fox had detailed. Three weeks later, in October of 1965, the new Batmobile was born and television history was made......!!
