The Ilyushin 86 "Camber", which went into development at the beginning of the 1970s, is the first and most important wide-bodied civil aircraft to be produced in Russia.�After a decade of development, the first Ilyushin went into product and��in 1979 the first deliveries were made to Aeroflot, for which it was the very first wide-bodied airliner. The IL86 is still flying in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China and Armenia.
