Revell Models 1/144 BAe Harrier GR.7 Description
This Revell BAe Harrier Gr.7 plastic model kit offers the ever popular RAF strike plane in 1/144th scale. The RAF's BAe Systems/Boeing Harrier GR.Mk.7 is one of the most sophisticated strike attack and reconnaissance aircraft in the world and is a development of the Anglo American short take-off and vertical landing AV-8B Harrier II. First flown in 1990, the GR.7 has seen combat action in Kosovo, the 2003 Iraq War and in Afghanistan and it carries the latest generations of offensive and defensive weaponry.
Further developments already in service are the Harrier GR.7A and GR.9 which types will remain in Royal Navy service until replaced in 2015 by the Anglo-American F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
